Privacy Policy

Frocklings: Sew & Twirl ("Frocklings", "the app") is a sewing and dress-up game for young children, made by Tak Hoffman ("we"). This policy explains what the app does with information. The short version: the app does not collect, store on our servers, share or sell any information about you or your child.

What the app collects

Nothing. Frocklings does not collect personal information or any other data from anyone who uses it. Specifically, the app:

• has no accounts, logins, sign-ups or profiles;
• does not ask for a name, age, email address, photo, location or any other personal information;
• contains no advertising and no third-party advertising, analytics, tracking or crash-reporting software (SDKs);
• does not track you across apps or websites and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA);
• does not send anything over the internet. The game works fully offline;
• has no chat, messaging, sharing or other ways to contact other people.

What stays on the device

To remember your child's progress, the app saves a small file on the device only: which friends have visited, the dresses made, which presents have been unwrapped, and similar game progress. This file never leaves the device and we cannot see it. It is included in the device's normal iCloud or computer backups if you have those turned on, and it is removed when you delete the app.

Spoken prompts are made on the device by iOS's built-in text-to-speech. No voice or audio is recorded.

Saving pictures to Photos

A grown-up can save a picture of a finished dress to the device's Photos library. This is behind a grown-ups check (a multiplication question) and iOS asks for permission first. The app only adds that picture; it cannot see or read your existing photos. The picture stays in your Photos library and is not sent to us.

Purchases

The optional "Unlock Everything" purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, payment details or Apple Account information. The app only learns whether the purchase has been made, so it can unlock the content. Purchases are behind the grown-ups check.

This website

This website has no ads, analytics, tracking pixels or cookies of our own. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical information (such as IP addresses) only to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.

Children's privacy

Frocklings is made for children ages 4–7 and is designed to meet the App Store Kids Category requirements and children's privacy laws such as COPPA (US) and GDPR-K (EU/UK). Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you believe we have somehow received information about your child, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we will update it here and change the date above. We will not start collecting information from children without getting verifiable parental consent first, as the law requires.
